Legendary and Epic Fashion Set Effects, the Full Ladder: +175 or +450? Taiwan's Notices Now Say +450
✍️ Alice・愛麗沙
Taiwan’s official text now says +450. Three Nexon Taiwan notices — the Cosmic Starchild explainer (as it reads today), the Cosmic Starchild end-of-sale notice published with the 8/26 update, and the 9/9 Elderwood Sovereign introduction — all print the same figures: legendary 3-piece All Stats +220, 4-piece Attack +450, Defense +450. Those are exactly Korea’s current values after two buffs: Korea launched at +90 / +175, went to +155 / +310 on 2025-09-25 and to +220 / +450 on 2026-06-25, both times retroactively. This page used to say “Taiwan runs +175”, based on our own 8/14 capture of the Cosmic Starchild explainer. The current notice no longer shows that figure and no update log announced a change, so we cannot tell whether Taiwan changed the value or our capture was wrong — both rows stay in the table, each with its basis. The one thing Taiwan’s notices do not mention is Korea’s generation-6-only, non-retroactive Final Damage +3%. To check for yourself: wear all four pieces, take one off, and see whether your Attack drops by the 450 tier or the 175 tier.
The full ladder: one row, one number, one source
Quoting “the fashion set effect” as a single number is where the confusion starts. Every row below is one specific combination of rarity, piece-count and version. The two Taiwan rows (official current, and our 8/14 capture) come first; the rest is Korea’s history:
| Rarity | Pieces | Period | Set Effect | Confidence |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Legendary | 3-piece | S0 (KR launch)(2025-03-27) | All Stats +90 | Confident |

The full timeline of legendary and epic fashion set effects: each row is the value for one (rarity, piece-count, version) combination, with its effective date and confidence. Checked 2026-09-28. The TW rows: three Nexon TW notices — the Cosmic Starchild page 3504848 (current text), the Cosmic Starchild end-of-sale notice 3531886 and the Elderwood Sovereign introduction 3541066 — all state the legendary 3-piece at all stats +220 and the 4-piece at attack and defence +450 each. Our 08-14 capture of 3504848 recorded +90 / +175; the current text no longer shows those numbers and no update log announced a change, so both rows are shown, each with its basis. The S0 / Buff #1 / Buff #2 rows are Korea's history. No TW notice states epic set values or the generation-6 final damage +3%.Cash Catalogue
The same numbers as a picture make the shape obvious — Korea’s legendary and epic 4-piece lines only ever go up across all three versions:
- Legendary 4-piece (Attack)
- Epic 4-piece (Attack)
Two things worth reading closely. First, both Korean buffs were retroactive — the official patch notes state existing outfits get the new numbers too, not just newly-synthesized ones. Taiwan’s notices print +220 / +450 directly, which puts Cosmic Starchild on Korea’s latest base values from the start (or at the very least, now). Second, there’s exactly one exception: the Final Damage +3% added in Korea’s S2 patch only applies to sets from generation 6 (Mirage Caldrea) onward, and the notice explicitly says it does NOT apply retroactively — players who had already synthesized a legendary set before the patch received 20 legendary fashion tickets per piece (80 for a full set) as compensation instead. That’s the one place where buying early can genuinely cost you something.
The epic-tier row for the interim window (2025-09-25 through 2026-06-24) is marked low-confidence on purpose — Korea’s own buff-#1 notice said the change was “legendary only,” and no source independently re-confirmed the epic value during that window. Taiwan’s notices state no epic set values at all, so there is no Taiwan epic row: leaving it empty beats passing Korea’s number off as Taiwan’s.
Where +175 came from, and why both rows stay
+175 did not come from nowhere. Korea’s launch (S0) 4-piece bonus was Attack/Defense +175, and when we captured Taiwan’s Cosmic Starchild explainer on 8/14 we recorded +90 / +175 as well. Fetching the same page again on 9/28, it reads +220 / +450; so do the two other Taiwan notices (8/26 and 9/9).
That is as far as the evidence goes: all three current official texts say +450, and no update log announces a change. Two explanations remain — Taiwan quietly moved to Korea’s current values after mid-August and rewrote the explainer, or our 8/14 capture was simply wrong — and Nexon’s text cannot separate them. So the table rates +450 high confidence (three current notices) and +175 low (a single capture of our own), side by side.
For your decision both explanations land in the same place: Taiwan should be on +450 now; the in-game display has the last word. The check takes ten seconds. Wear four pieces of one generation, note your Attack, take any one piece off and look again. The 4-piece effect switches off, the 3-piece effect stays, and a single fashion piece carries no Attack of its own, so the drop is the 4-piece Attack bonus itself (times your attack% multiplier, if the panel folds that in). The two candidates are two and a half times apart, so you cannot mistake one for the other: a drop on the 450 tier means notice and game agree; a drop on the 175 tier means they don’t — please tell us.
What Taiwan still lacks: only generation 6’s +3%
This table used to project when Taiwan would receive Korea’s two buffs, on the assumption that Buff #1 rides with Korea’s generation 3 and Buff #2 with generation 6. Taiwan’s notices already print the post-Buff-#2 base values, so most of that projection is no longer needed:
| Buff round | KR effective date | Estimated TW arrival | Basis |
|---|---|---|---|
| S0 (KR launch) | 2025-03-27 | Not in the current notice; appears only in our 08-14 capture | Our 08-14 capture; not in the current notice |
| S1 Buff #1 (KR) | 2025-09-25 | TW notices go straight to +220 / +450; this step never appeared on its own | Official notice |
| S2 Buff #2 (KR-current) | 2026-06-25 | In TW notices: Cosmic Starchild (from 2026-07-22) and Elderwood Sovereign (from 2026-09-09) | Official notice |
| Final damage +3% (generation 6 only) | 2026-06-25 | approx. 2027-08 → 2027-11 | Site estimate |
This table used to assume TW would receive the two buffs only when KR's generations 3 and 6 arrived. Nexon TW's own notices (3504848 current text, 3531886, 3541066) already state the legendary set at +220 (3-piece) and +450 attack/defence (4-piece) — Korea's post-buff base values — so the base values are not waiting on anything. The one piece no TW notice mentions yet is the final damage +3%, generation 6 only and not retroactive, which still follows the projected generation-6 window.
The only part still projected is the Final Damage +3%. In Korea it belongs only to generation 6 and later sets, and Taiwan’s notices say nothing about it, so its Taiwan timing still reads the generation-6 window from our generation projection — roughly the second half of 2027, Korea’s pace carried forward, not an announcement. Taiwan doesn’t always follow Korea’s order either way: Guild Ships have existed in Korea since 2025-08-21 and still have no official Taiwan launch over a year later, and Taiwan’s first fashion wave skipped straight to Korea’s round 5. This set-effect episode is the opposite case — Taiwan reached Korea’s current values earlier than projected. A projection can miss late or early.
Our conclusion
Going by Nexon Taiwan’s three current notices, Taiwan’s legendary fashion set effect is 3-piece All Stats +220, 4-piece Attack/Defense +450 each — the same as Korea today. The +90 / +175 this page used to state comes from our own 8/14 capture; the current notices no longer show it and no update log explains a change. It stays in the table to be honest about the source, not because it is still Taiwan’s number.
This correction reverses two of the page’s earlier conclusions. First, “Taiwan = Korea’s S0 row” no longer holds — the page’s own stated overturn condition (“if Taiwan’s own fashion notice states a different base value than the S0 row, this page needs a rewrite”) has fired, so it has been rewritten. Second, “Taiwan will inherit the two buffs in turn” is no longer a roadmap item waiting to be paid out: the base values are already printed in Taiwan’s notices. One conclusion still stands: the Final Damage +3% on generation 6 and later sets is explicitly non-retroactive, and it remains the only part where buying early can cost you — while Taiwan is currently selling generation 2 (Elderwood Sovereign) and generation 6 is projected for the second half of 2027.
What would overturn this: if the in-game panel shows the 4-piece bonus is only +175 (taking one piece off drops Attack on the 175 tier, not the 450 tier), notice and game disagree and we will follow the panel. If Taiwan applies a version-specific bonus like Final Damage +3% to existing sets before generation 6, the “buying early can cost you” caveat gets walked back.
