Hell 3–5 red-fossil ledger: ten weeks to the first emblem

快速答案

The rule that saves the most fossils: from 9/14, spend no red abyss fossil on fashion or pot+ until you have spent 1,200 cumulatively at Molly’s relic exchange. Korea’s shop gates the emblem selection pot (900) behind 1,200 cumulative spend — spent, not held. So the first emblem really costs 1,200 + 900 = 2,100, and with Hell 3/4/5 all open Korean players measured a steady ~210 a week, so about ten weeks. Taiwan opens only Hell 3 on 9/14, so the first two weeks earn less — the only purchase that makes sense there is the 400-fossil Enchant Scroll: Fox, which also counts toward the 1,200. Taiwan does not have Hell 4/5 yet; Korea got them 2025-07-07 / 07-14 / 07-21. Every number below is labelled Korean official or Korean community; Taiwan’s own numbers are unconfirmed until 9/14.

Where Taiwan is

Taiwan’s 9/9 update is Korea’s 2025-06-19 patch. Korea then opened Hell 3, 4 and 5 one per week (Monday 06:00): 2025-07-07 / 07-14 / 07-21. Taiwan’s 9/9 record says only “Hell 3 opens 9/14”. So the Korean ledger is certain; Taiwan’s depends on cadence — the last section says how to check.

Hell 323,5003Korea official
Hell 4~25,0002 (from stage 4)CP: Korean community; revives: Korea official
Hell 5not stated; players say ~30,0002Korean community

Two more official rules: from Hell 3 two area effects apply at once (Hell 1–2 have one), and revives drop to 2 from Hell 4. Hell 4 is not “Hell 3 with more HP” — it is one fewer mistake allowed plus one more layer of interference, which is why players raised the CP bar, not because the monsters are harder.

Three sources of fossils (Korea official)

  1. Time-attack reward: 15/20/30 per clear of Hell 3/4/5. Three clears a week each (Korea’s weekly cap) = 45 + 60 + 90 = 195.
  2. Weekly loot cap: 30/60/90 per stage (180 total). A cap, not a guarantee.
  3. Abyss fossil exchange: 100 abyss fossils → 60 red, twice a week, so 120/week max.

Theoretical ceiling 195 + 180 + 120 = 495. Measured steady income is ~210 — a 2.4× gap, because most people do not hit the loot cap and the exchange needs 200 abyss fossils in hand first. This is the one place you must not simply add the official numbers.

The week-by-week ledger (Korean community)

WeekIncomeCumulativeWhy
1165165Hell 3 only: time-attack 45 + loot 30 + exchange 90 (not everyone has 200 abyss fossils)
2200365Hell 4 joins
3270635Hell 5 joins
4+210/week845, 1,055, 1,265 …Steady state: only part of the 195 time-attack (Hell 5 three times a week is not universal) + exchange

2,100 lands at the end of week 10: 845 + 210 × 6 = 2,105 (week 9 ends at 1,895, 205 short). Inven’s “about 11 weeks” includes buying the 400-fossil Fox scroll first: 2,500 ÷ 210 ≈ weeks 11–12. Check it yourself: put your actual weekly count in; if week 4 onward is under 200, push the estimate a week.

The shop, and what to buy first

Korea’s price list (Korea official 2025-09-25; Taiwan has confirmed only the Fox row):

ItemPriceCondition
Enchant Scroll: Fox (★6)400Taiwan from 9/14 (confirmed)
Pot+10—
Weapon rune pot+900—
Armour rune pot+600—
Emblem selection pot900opens after 1,200 cumulative spend
Four fashion pieces630 / 420 / 420 / 630—

One logic: the first 1,200 must go on things you would buy anyway, so they build the counter. Fox 400 + weapon rune pot 900 = 1,300 clears the gate; then save 900 for the emblem. Total for the first emblem 2,200 — only 100 more than the bare 2,100, with a scroll and a weapon rune on top. That is why the first 1,200 must not go on 10-fossil pot+ or fashion.

A confusion to correct: 정가 is not a discount

Korean guides say “엠블럼 정가 900”. 정가 here is 지정 가챠 — a selection pot: you pick one ★6 emblem, not a random roll. It only yields ★6, and it is not cheaper than the random pot; you pay for the choosing. The second misreading is the gate: 1,200 is cumulative spend, not a wallet balance — the Fox scroll’s 400 already counts.

What to do now

  • Before 9/14: keep abyss fossils; 200 of them become 120 red in week one — the difference between 165 and 75.
  • From 9/14: three Hell 3 clears a week (45). Three revives is Hell 3’s generosity; Hell 4 has two — rehearse positioning now.
  • First purchase: Fox scroll 400.
  • Do not: buy pot+ or fashion before the emblem opens.
  • CP: 23,500 gets you into Hell 3; on Korea’s cadence Hell 5 wants ~30,000 in two weeks (community). See CP priority for the fastest 6,500.

What invalidates this

  1. Taiwan’s Hell 4/5 cadence. Korea went three weeks straight; Taiwan’s 9/9 record names only Hell 3 (9/14) and White Succubus (9/21). If the 9/16 or 9/23 maintenance notice has no “Hell 4”, shift weeks 2–3 later — see patch-note timing.
  2. Taiwan’s shop prices differ. Only Fox 400 is confirmed; the 900 emblem and 1,200 gate are Korean and not yet live in Taiwan. Recompute the order with the real gate on 9/14.
  3. Weekly attempt caps: “three a week” is Korea’s; if Taiwan keeps Hell 1–2’s current cap, adjust.

Our conclusion

Red fossils are a ten-weeks-per-emblem resource, and the shop is designed so how you spend the first 1,200 matters more than the total. Two decisions in the first fortnight: keep abyss fossils for the exchange, and buy the Fox scroll first. Everything else waits for Hell 5.
