Mas Deep Dungeon: two tributes a day, Very Hard pays double
✍️ Alice・愛麗沙
Tributes have two uses: one Very Hard run, or two Hard runs — every day. Demon tributes arrive one per 12 hours and stop at 10. Deep-dungeon rules: Hard is 1 tribute for 1 reward, Very Hard is 2 for 2, so the reward per tribute is equal; the difference is Very Hard’s one extra grade reward on the first clear each week, and much harder monsters. Mas Deep is the ceiling at this stage: level 65, combat power 22,000/23,000. Below 22,000, keep your tributes in Rabbie Deep and do not hit the wall — a failed run does not refund the tribute. In June 2025 this threshold burned more Korean tributes than anything else.
Deep dungeons run on a different currency
Two. Just two a day.
Normal dungeons cost silver; deep dungeons cost demon tributes. The official guide is brief: entry with demon tributes, one gained per 12 hours, no demon badge or key required.
Two a day, cap 10 — full in five days, after which each 12-hour tribute simply evaporates. This line hits its ceiling more easily than silver.
Today adds a deep dungeon; tribute output does not change. So the question is not “what does Mas Deep give” but “should tributes move out of Rabbie Deep”.
| Entry currency | Auto-regen | Regenerated per day | Regen stops at | Hard holding cap | Cost of one run |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Silver coin | +1 every 30 min, offline included | 48 | Stops once you hold 100 (full membership: 150) | 999 | 10 for a normal dungeon [Korean figure] |
| Fomor tribute | +1 every 12 h, from level 55 | 2 | Stops once you hold 10 (full membership: 15) | 99 | 1 for Deep Hard, 2 for Very Hard [Korean figures] |
Regen speed, the line where regen stops, the holding cap and the membership bonus all come from Taiwan’s own official currency page. The entry costs marked [Korean figure] are not published in Taiwan and are Korean data. The same official text also states: leave immediately and you are refunded in full, leave after making progress and you get part of it back, hunting grounds refund by the side objectives you completed — and the weekday dungeons charge no entry currency at all.Gold efficiency
Hard 1-for-1, Very Hard 2-for-2 — so why run Very Hard?
Korean players tabulated the deep-dungeon cost and return:
| Difficulty | Tributes | Clear rewards | Extra |
|---|---|---|---|
| Hard | 1 | 1 | — |
| Very Hard | 2 | 2 | once a week, a grade-based bonus reward |
Rewards per tribute are equal. Very Hard adds exactly one thing: the grade reward on the week’s first clear. Grade weighs clear time, deaths, combat power and cooperation — one death with a revive still scores full; the second starts costing.
Three more rules that differ from normal dungeons:
- No double loot in deep dungeons. Two rewards means Very Hard; there is no other route.
- Very Hard costs 2 tributes but counts as 1 dungeon clear — do not miscount guild weeklies like “3 deep clears”.
- Official rule: only one deep dungeon has Very Hard open at a time, and a newly added Hard deep dungeon temporarily closes Very Hard. Mas Deep opening means the weekly Very Hard rotation is read in-game.
22,000 is a gate, not a suggestion
The patch notes give one number only: enterable and fightable at level 65. They print no combat-power gate; Korea’s table fills it in: Mas Deep floor 1, level 65, combat power 22,000; floor 2, level 65, 23,000. Korea’s verdict: “monster stats up considerably from the previous top deep dungeon, Rabbie Deep”. Rabbie Deep has no published combat-power gate; Mas Deep does: 22,000. Taiwan’s mid-pack sits in the low twenty thousands, so 22,000 cuts just below a lot of players. 1,000 short: run Hard. 3,000 short: do not enter. A failed deep run does not refund the tribute (the progress-based refund rule appears only in the guide’s normal-dungeon section). One wall is a day’s output.
Rewards: every season-0 rune except emblems
Korea records Mas Deep’s rewards as every rare-to-epic season-0 rune except emblem runes. Weapon, armour and accessory runes share one pool.
That matters to two groups:
Anyone still assembling epic runes. Taiwan’s epic sources had been concentrated in the Abyss and Glas Ghaibhleann. Mas Deep is the first “enter daily, tributes only” epic source. Two tributes a day = one Very Hard = 2 rewards, 14 a week.
Anyone collecting accessory enchants. The patch notes’ wording is “an enchant scroll or enchant scroll fragments at a set probability” — finished scrolls and fragments are both on the drop table, and the probability is unpublished. The Korean catalogue lists it as a source of the Fox scroll (附魔卷軸:狐狸). The enchant day-one article orders the four sources.
One thing people mix up
“Deep” and “Abyss” are different things. Deep is the hard version of a normal dungeon, tributes, daily entry; the Abyss is weekly, costs Abyss slaying proofs, settles on Monday. Mas Deep is the former. Holding the Abyss combat-power table (Entry from 14,337) against a deep dungeon gives mismatched numbers — nobody is wrong, there are two tables.
What to do now
- Combat power ≥ 22,000: move all tributes to Mas Deep, one Very Hard a day (when it is the week’s rotation) or two Hard.
- Combat power under 22,000: keep tributes in Rabbie Deep; no wall-hitting.
- First check today: whether tributes are sitting at 10. If so, you are wasting them; any run beats holding.
What would overturn this: level 65 is the patch notes’ figure; 22,000/23,000 are Korean suggested values, and the in-game difficulty tab wins if a server shows different ones; “failed deep runs refund nothing” is inferred from the guide placing the refund rule only in the normal-dungeon section — if a server’s deep dungeons do refund by progress, the gate section can relax.
