Push Bangor's region goal to 100%? No door yet, but a title

KR S1 preview KR Season 1 content — live in Korea since 2025-09-25, not yet on the Taiwan server.
Quick answer

Fill the statue cell to full; let the rest rise with the main story, no forcing. Bangor’s region-goal panel carries a reward hard-coded in Korea: 100% unlocks Sen Mag Plateau. On a server where that map is not open, 100% opens no door. But the panel’s “goddess statue restoration” is computed on its own, and restoring every statue pays a held title of +4 to five stats — ten minutes, permanent, no title slot used, do it on day one. The other items (side quests, gathering, part-time jobs) can wait until that map is announced. They do not expire.

What a region goal is

Every region’s map screen has a [Region Goal] panel (Region Progress in some builds) that scores several kinds of content as percentages: main and side quests, gathering points, part-time jobs, statue restoration — summed into one total.

Korea hangs a reward on Bangor’s panel: total progress 100% unlocks Sen Mag Plateau — the map beyond the goddess statue north of town.

The Taiwan situation: no door, but the key

No door.

The list of what flipped on 9/9 names six items that did not, and Sen Mag Plateau is one. The notice’s three new lands are Bangor, Gairech Hill and Cloud Wasteland — no Sen Mag Plateau.

So Bangor’s total at 100% pays nothing on Taiwan today. The panel may still show the unlock condition, but what lies behind it does not exist. To a Korean reader this sounds odd — on their server 100% really did open the door. Taiwan received the same panel 447 days later, without the door. An English server will likely receive it the same way.

But one cell of the panel is different.

The statue cell: computed alone, paid alone

The statues are the altars at each dungeon and hunting-ground entrance — the thing you place a pass on. Their restoration is its own cell on the panel, not merely a share of the total.

The patch notes print the name — Hero of Bangor (班克爾的英雄) — and note that it carries a held effect in addition to its equipped one; Korea’s title table gives the condition “restore every goddess statue in the Bangor region” and the effect held Strength / Dexterity / Intelligence / Luck / Will +4 each, equipped Luck +20. A held effect applies permanently once obtained — no equipping, no slot. Five stats at +4 fold into the damage formula as very little per point, but it is five at once, permanent, and free — nothing else in this update is a cheaper permanent number.

How many statues does Bangor have? One at each mine entrance, one on the Sen Mag side (Korea’s record: “the northern statue connects to Sen Mag Plateau”), plus the town’s own. Not many; ten minutes for the full loop.

The other cells: wait, don’t push

Side quests, gathering points and part-time jobs rise naturally as you play. The only reason to force them today is “100% opens the door”, and the door is absent.

They also never expire. A region goal is not an event; there is no deadline. When a server announces Sen Mag Plateau, come back and fill the remainder — at that point your level and gear are better than today’s, and the fill is faster. That is exactly what happened in Korea: players who had left the panel filled it in a day during the unlock week.

One exception: Gairech Hill and Bangor share a set of side quests (Korea records common side quests between them). Doing Bangor’s side quests advances Gairech Hill’s progress and vice versa, so side quests picked up while the main story passes through need not be skipped — they feed both panels.

One thing people mix up

“The title needs 100% region goal” — no. The title reads the statue cell, not the total. Total 60% with statues at 100% pays the title; total 100% with one statue missed does not. Read the cell, not the sum.

What to do now

  • Map → Bangor → Region Goal, find the statue cell.
  • Restore every statue to 100%, take the title.
  • Let the rest follow the main story, no forcing.
  • The day Sen Mag Plateau is announced, this article changes.

What would overturn this: “100% unlocks Sen Mag Plateau” and the title condition are Korean data — if a server changes the region-goal reward to something else (an item, say), the “pays nothing today” line needs rereading; the statue count follows the in-game panel, and no coordinate list exists for any server yet.
