Titles in Mabinogi Mobile: what to chase first

✍️ Alice・愛麗沙

Quick answer

This page describes the Taiwan server — there is no official English service, so English pages here show Taiwan’s data and say so. There are 153 titles obtainable right now, and the full list with every acquisition condition is in the title database. Before you open it, learn the one distinction that matters: titles run two independent systems. A hold effect applies the moment you meet the condition — permanently, with no equip slot, shared by every character you own on that server. An equip effect occupies your single title slot, one at a time. Only 53 titles carry a hold effect, and that subset is the only part worth scheduling around. Start with cumulative class level 675, which pays +275 attack and +275 defence in one stroke.

Count them first

Korea’s title catalogue has accumulated to 253 entries. Taiwan’s S0 has 153 of them; the remaining 97 are Korea’s later versions and will arrive in batches. Every number in that sentence and in the table below is recomputed each time this site rebuilds, from the same file, so the two can never disagree with each other:

ScopeCount
KR catalogue total250
Obtainable on TW153
of which with passive effects53
KR-only (preview)97

This table is generated from the site database at build time.Titles

Treat the gap as a calendar rather than a shortfall. Korea’s catalogue is Taiwan’s release schedule, and each new batch shows up there first.

The raw total makes new players imagine an enormous collection grind. What actually needs planning is far smaller — because of the split below.

Two effect types, one of which needs a schedule

A title may carry a hold effect, an equip effect, or both. The distribution:

How it appliesTitlesShareNotes
Equip effect only9763%Only the one you wear counts
Both effects3422%Permanent on acquisition, plus a second layer when worn
Passive only1912%Permanent, never needs the slot
No stats at all32%Commemorative; the stat column is empty

The 153 Taiwan-obtainable titles, split by which effect fields they carry.Titles

The largest group is equip-only, and every one of them competes for the same single slot: wear A and you cannot wear B. The right play for that group is not collection, it is picking the single best one to leave equipped.

The hold-effect group behaves in the exact opposite way: the instant you meet the condition, the stat is permanently added — nothing to claim, nothing to wear, and alts share it. It is the only permanent growth line in the system, which is why titles are worth a whole cluster of articles rather than a footnote.

One sentence of division of labour: equip effects, pick one. Hold effects, collect a set.

The cumulative class-level ladder — where the real money is

The hold effects are not evenly spread across your account’s lifetime. They cluster, and the biggest cluster is the cumulative class-level track. There are three tiers, and only two are on Taiwan:

Cumulative class levelHold effectEquip effectWhere
675ATK +275, DEF +275—Taiwan
975ATK +275, DEF +275, HP +800—Taiwan
1,205ATK +275, DEF +275, HP +800STR / DEX / INT / Luck / Will, +30 eachKorea only (Season 2)

The titles themselves have no official English names — they are 다재다능, 만능 천재 and 올라운더 in the source data, and this site does not invent English forms for names Nexon has not published in English. The thresholds and effects are what you plan around anyway.

675 is the correct starting point, because it is the single largest free hold-effect payout and it is reachable by breadth. Taking a dozen-odd classes to somewhere in the mid-30s is dramatically cheaper than pushing one class deep — the trace arithmetic is at /en/subclass/, and the same route feeds the Thousand Swords rune as a by-product.

The alt rule that changes the whole plan

Here is the detail most guides still get wrong, because it changed under them.

Since Korea’s 2025-09-25 patch, cumulative class level is the sum of each class’s highest level across your entire account — not one character’s own total, as it was before. That means you can split the work across alts. Level Swordmaster on your main, Archer on an alt, and both count toward the same ladder.

(This rule is recorded from Korean community documentation, not from a Nexon announcement. It is HIGH confidence in our dataset and it is what the acquisition notes on the individual title rows say, but it is community material and labelled as such.)

The arithmetic that follows is worth doing once. There are 20 classes, and every class has a level-65 title of its own — each granting a hold effect of +25 to two primary stats (plus +65/+65 as an equip effect). Twenty classes at level 65 is 1,300 cumulative, which clears even the 1,205 tier that Taiwan does not have yet. In other words, the ladder is not a separate grind bolted onto class levelling: it is class levelling, counted a second way, and it terminates naturally if you keep going.

How to search the list

Most title lists circulating online are launch-week screenshots, and the catalogue moves — events add titles, and each content update adds more. The title database builds directly from the data file that produced both tables above, so the three places always agree.

Two habits make it faster:

  • Search backwards from the condition. If you want to know whether cooking or running job-board work grants a title, filter by source rather than scrolling.
  • Check the repeat count. Some titles are ten minutes of incidental effort; some want a thousand repetitions of the same action. Decide whether to reschedule your day only after seeing which.

One group is genuinely time-limited: item-type titles from events and anniversaries. Once the window closes they are not re-issued — Korea’s record over a full year is consistent on that, and even anniversary titles do not return the following year. When an event list contains a title item, move it to the top of that event’s priority.

A thing that does not exist

Players regularly ask which milestone you hit for collecting 50, or 100, or 200 titles. We checked four independent Korean sources for a collection-count tier and found nothing — no such system exists.

The nearest things are ordinary single-count titles for specific collections (pets at 15/20/25/30 species, fashion at 30/60 pieces), which are counts of that collection, not of your titles. We are publishing the negative result rather than leaving the question unanswered, because “we looked and it isn’t there” is a useful answer and silence is not.

Three common misreadings

“I’m level 45, why don’t I have a class title?” Class titles are achievement rewards. Meeting the condition only unlocks them — you still have to claim the reward on the achievements screen, and then equip it before it shows.

“Do I have to wear a title for its hold effect?” No. What appears above your head is whatever you equipped; the hold effect never shows itself and is quietly in your stats. Invisible is not absent.

“Do titles expire?” Condition-based titles do not. Item-type titles have an acquisition window, and Korea’s pattern is that a missed window is never reopened.

Our verdict

The correct way to read the title system: it is a permanent growth line disguised as a collection checklist, plus one equipment slot. Your schedule only needs the 53 hold effects. Start at cumulative class level 675, split the levelling across alts now that the account-wide rule applies, keep one cost-effective title equipped, and treat everything else as a bonus you pick up in passing.

Two claims you can overturn. First, that the numbers on this page match what you see in the Taiwan client — they come from this site’s build-time computation, so if you count a different total in game (a new event added titles before our data caught up), send a screenshot and every number on the site moves together when the file updates. Second, that “675 first, everything else after” is the most efficient free-to-play opening. To beat it you would need a measured route where some other batch of titles yields more hold-effect value than +275/+275 for the same time investment. If someone works that out, the order changes the same day.
