What unlocks when, and what an alt has to earn again
✍️ Alice・愛麗沙
Nothing in this game opens all at once. There are five kinds of gate: things the account has from the first login (the daily free pick, attendance, Stella Pick), things the main story and prerequisite quests open (parties, guilds, jobs, black holes), things character level opens (2, 10, 25, 32, 45, 55, 58 and 65 — eight of them), things class level opens (15, 20, 25, 30, 45, 65 — a completely different number from character level), and things life skills and charm open (alchemy, the Stella Dome). The two most asked: the abyss wants character level 65 with the shadow quest cleared, then the Krama field boss killed and the into-the-deep-dark quest finished — and before any of that, the entire main story plus one more named quest. The daily free pick has never had an unlock condition published by either operator; the closest thing to an answer is a player report that the menu opens on clearing chapter one of the goddess story, while the purchase itself stays once per account. For alts, in one line: life skills, guild membership, cash currency, the codex, vault contents and the account dailies all come free with a new character; character level, story progress, every prerequisite quest, combat power and silver coins do not — the eight level gates have to be crossed again, one at a time.
Update 14 Sep (Taiwan): Taiwan’s 9 Sep patch notes (thread 3541097) added gates this table did not have, and every one of them is a quest or a clear, not a combat-power number. Lairt Hills — entered from north Dunbarton during the “missing caravan wagon” quest, which itself needs the “road to the deep” quest done; Goddess Descent chapter 2 — after the “toward the deep” quest; the black hole to the abyss — after clearing the abyss entry tier at least once, with unlimited entries counted separately from ordinary black holes; the Cloud Sea Wilds boss — without Bari Mine 1 and 2 on normal cleared you can enter the boss area but cannot damage it; Math deep dungeon — level 65; field boss hard mode — from 14 Sep 06:00. The level-85 abyss in section eight is still not on Taiwan.
Why no single page had this
The operator did write every condition down. It just wrote them one per article, across ninety-five guide threads, forty-three notices and a handful of patch notes. If you want to know how the abyss opens, you first have to know which article to open — and if you have never heard of the quest that gates it, you do not even know what to search for.
This is that page. The ordering follows the order players actually ask in — what are you trying to open — rather than the order the facts were filed in.
1. What you have from the first login, and an alt never re-collects
This whole group is account-scoped. There is no level requirement, and equally, rolling more characters does not multiply any of it — the single most miscounted line in alt arithmetic.
| What opens | Condition | For an alt | Basis |
|---|---|---|---|
| The cash shop's daily free pick | Neither service has published an unlock condition. The fashion shop it sits inside is documented as usable from level 2, but that is the shop's gate, not the free pick's own. Korean players report the real condition is clearing chapter one of the goddess story: the menu opens per character, while the purchase itself is once per account per day — an alt sees the same list and still cannot buy a second time. | an alt inherits it(account-wide) | Taiwan official 3474921 |
| Daily attendance rewards | No level, no combat power, no progress gate. Available from the moment you log in — and a day you skip does not bank. | an alt inherits it(account-wide) | Taiwan official 3474650 |
| Today's Stella Pick | Once per account per day, resetting at 06:00. Rolling more alts does not buy you a second pick. | an alt inherits it(account-wide) | Taiwan official 3474665 |
| The shared account vault | Officially defined as the vault shared by every character of your account on that server, opened at a bank or inn storage NPC — but no level or quest gate has been published. Gold, M-cash, fashion gear and pets cannot go in, and silver coins are officially barred from any vault. | an alt inherits it(shared on the server) | Taiwan official 3474893 |
| The marketplace | No level or quest gate has ever been published. The official article documents the mechanics exhaustively — priced in Deka, needs the tradeable tag, identified gear cannot be listed, one trade per item, a price band from a three-day average recalculated every 12 hours — and never once says when it opens. | an alt must open it again(per character) | Taiwan official 3474916 |
| NPC barter | Neither service's official documentation contains an article about when it opens. The barter NPCs were spread across three towns (Dugald Aisle, Dunbarton, Colhen); since 9/9 Taiwan has a fourth set in Bangor (update log 3541097: the tavern, Edern's smithy, Elen's metal workshop, Gilmore's store and Ibbie's hill). Most exchange caps reset daily per character; a few are weekly or per account. | an alt must open it again(per character) | Taiwan official・not published |
The numbers in the basis column are Taiwan's own official guide and patch-note article ids, so every row can be checked against the source. Rows marked Korea are content Taiwan does not have yet — listed so you know it exists, not so you wait for it. Checked 2026-10-02.
Three of these deserve a paragraph.
The daily free pick is the row the operators say least about. Across the whole official corpus it is mentioned exactly once, in passing, inside an article about fashion dyeing — and never defined. The fashion shop that contains it does carry a level-2 gate, but that belongs to the container, and treating it as the pick’s own condition would be inference dressed as citation.
The closest thing to an answer comes from Korean players’ own testing: the menu lights up after chapter one of the goddess story — and what opens is the menu. The purchase itself remains once per account per day. That explains a confusion people hit constantly: an alt walks in, sees exactly the same list the main saw, and cannot click it, because the main already spent the one purchase. Refresh tickets work the opposite way, being per character, so an alt’s tickets can be spent rerolling that shared list. All of this is player-reported, not an announcement from either operator.
The shared vault and the marketplace are the same kind of blank. Their mechanics are documented exhaustively — what cannot be stored, who pays the market fee, how the price band is computed — and neither article ever says when the feature opens. In practice most players find both already available the first time they walk into a bank or try to sell something, but that is experience, not a published rule.
Barter does not even have a mechanics article. Neither service has published one, which is why the NPC list, the daily caps and the routes are all community work.
2. What the main story and prerequisite quests open
Nothing here asks for a level. It asks how far you have pushed the story — and these are the things that actually stall people in the first ten hours.
| What opens | Condition | For an alt | Basis |
|---|---|---|---|
| Parties and the party board | Clear the opening Tir Chonaill quest — the earliest function gate in the game. | an alt must open it again(per character) | Taiwan official 3474674 |
| Guilds | Talk to the Dunbarton town-hall NPC and clear the adventurers'-guild quest; no level requirement. The load-bearing line is elsewhere in the same document: every character on a server belongs to the same guild — so an alt is born already inside it. | an alt inherits it(shared on the server) | Taiwan official 3474679 |
| Part-time jobs | The official text says only that new jobs unlock as the main story advances — no level, no named quest. Later sections then repeatedly refer to an unlock condition the document never defines. | an alt must open it again(per character) | Taiwan official 3474891 |
| The adventurer pass | Clear the Alby second-floor clearing quest. | an alt must open it again(per character) | Taiwan official 3474868 |
| Rune imprinting | Clear the rune-imprint quest and you can imprint at a campfire or smithy. Imprint enhancement and imprint reset need a separate tyrant-materials delivery quest. | an alt must open it again(per character) | Taiwan official 3474673 |
| Double drops, star-golem holes, gifting | All hang off one quest — the chapter-one finale. Double drops in dungeons and hunting grounds, the star-golem black holes and the gifting function open together. | an alt must open it again(per character) | Taiwan official 3474913 |
| Black holes | No level gate — the gate is location. Every hunting ground except one admits them, and the hunting grounds themselves open on an unnamed quest. The abyss-flavoured hole is the exception: it needs at least one clear of the abyss entry tier first. It appears only in the Goddess's Garden, the Ice Gorge and the Cloud Wasteland, at one level-65 difficulty in all three; the town map announces it an hour ahead, and it is counted apart from the ordinary exploration charges, with unlimited entries (9/9 update log 3541097). | an alt must open it again(per character) | Taiwan official 3474909 |
| The ominous summoning ward | It has no unlock of its own — reach a hunting ground and you will meet it. It appears hourly from 06:00, the black haze circles for three minutes before summoning, and the ward vanishes seven minutes after the monsters appear. The loot count is weekly, resetting Monday 06:00; how many is not published. | an alt must open it again(per character) | Taiwan official 3474909 |
| Mystic dice | There is no unlock quest, because it is an item rather than content: officially it comes from assorted rewards and from purifying black blobs, so its real gate is whatever gates the hunting grounds. | an alt must open it again(per character) | Taiwan official 3474905 |
| Stellagram | Created after the welcome-to-the-dome quest, and strictly one per account — an alt cannot open a second. | an alt inherits it(account-wide) | Taiwan official 3474666 |
The numbers in the basis column are Taiwan's own official guide and patch-note article ids, so every row can be checked against the source. Rows marked Korea are content Taiwan does not have yet — listed so you know it exists, not so you wait for it. Checked 2026-10-02.
Look at the chapter-one finale row. Double drops, the star-golem black holes and the gifting function all hang off that one quest. Until you finish chapter one, none of the dungeons you are running have double drops available. It is the highest-return line on this whole list, and it costs no levels — only story progress.
The part-time jobs row is the opposite case. The official wording is that new jobs unlock as the main story advances: no level, no quest name. Later in the same document, two job categories are described as requiring an “unlock condition” the document never defines anywhere. That is not a gap in our research; it is a gap in the documentation.
3. What character level opens: eight doors
| What opens | Condition | For an alt | Basis |
|---|---|---|---|
| The fashion shop | Character level 2. | an alt must open it again(per character) | Taiwan official 3474921 |
| Appearing on the rankings | Rankings register a character from level 10. | an alt must open it again(per character) | Taiwan official 3474941 |
| Advancing into the 18 full classes | Character level 25 — the first real gate in the game. Below it you can only swap among the six apprentice classes; above it you enter the full-class pool, and the two pools do not mix. | an alt must open it again(per character) | Taiwan official 3474901 |
| Weekday dungeons, tier I | Character level 32, and you must accept that week's weekly job first — hitting the level without the job leaves the door shut. Mon/Thu gold, Tue/Fri gems, Wed/Sat catalysts, Sunday your pick. | an alt must open it again(per character) | Taiwan official 3474904 |
| Weekday dungeons tier II, and the alchemy ruins tier I | Character level 45. The catalyst ruins start their first tier here, one step later than the other two. | an alt must open it again(per character) | Taiwan official 3474904 |
| Demon tribute accrual and the deep dungeons | Accrual starts at character level 55, which is also where the alchemy ruins' second tier opens. Since 9/9 the Math Dungeon has a deep-dungeon difficulty of its own, enterable at level 65, with a chance at an enchant scroll or scroll fragment per clear (update log 3541097). | an alt must open it again(per character) | Taiwan official 3474918 |
| Weekday dungeons, tier III | Character level 58 for two of the three; the catalyst ruins' third tier waits until 65. | an alt must open it again(per character) | Taiwan official 3474904 |
| The Tower of Wraiths | At character level 65, clear the deeper-and-lower quest; a shadow-following side quest is then auto-accepted, and clearing that opens the tower. Twenty attempts a day, win or lose, resetting at 06:00, enterable only from a village. | an alt must open it again(per character) | Taiwan official 3474933 |
| The Abyss | Both conditions are required: character level 65 with the shadow quest cleared, and then the Krama field boss killed, followed by talking to the herald at that zone's entrance to take the into-the-deep-dark quest. The full chain runs longer — finish the whole main story, then clear the passage-to-the-depths quest before the tutorial becomes available (or start it from the Dunbarton town hall with the right dialogue keyword). Only once the tutorial is done does the abyss appear in the top-right menu. Weekly reset Monday 06:00. Taiwan's difficulty calendar: Hell 3 opened 9/14, Hell 4 on 9/28, Hell 5 opens 10/5 (update logs 3541097, 3545629, 3550874); since 9/30 Math Abyss clears can also drop two unique rings and a Crimson Crystal. | an alt must open it again(per character) | Taiwan official 3474937 |
| Raids | Official condition (guide 3474927): character level 65, the abyss quest into the deep dark cleared first (so Krama must already be dead), then talk to Eavan and meet a set condition during the toward-that-sea quest. One to eight players; solo entry scales the boss's patterns and stats down. Taiwan has two raids: Glas Ghaibhleann (Introductory / Hard; Very Hard opens 10/5 06:00, unlocked the same way through Eavan, six revives for the whole party, clear loot shared with the other two difficulties at once a week — 3550874) and the White Succubus (opened 9/21, its own loot count — 3545629). | an alt must open it again(per character) | Taiwan official 3474927 |
| The friendship pouch | Usable from level 55. It comes from partying through abyss, raid and dungeon runs, and from campfires, ensembles, lingering in shared spaces and weekly co-op challenges; double-drop runs pay two. Counted per character. | an alt must open it again(per character) | Taiwan official 3513544 |
The numbers in the basis column are Taiwan's own official guide and patch-note article ids, so every row can be checked against the source. Rows marked Korea are content Taiwan does not have yet — listed so you know it exists, not so you wait for it. Checked 2026-10-02.
Two of the eight are shaped differently from the rest.
Level 25 is a fork, not a checkpoint. Below it you can only swap among the six apprentice classes; above it you swap among the eighteen full ones, and the two pools never mix.
Level 65 is the floor of an entire second game. The abyss, the tower, raids and the top tier of the alchemy ruins all sit on that one number. Crossing it roughly doubles the amount of content available to you in a single afternoon — which is also why stacking combat power below 65 buys you little. These doors are locked by level, not by power.
One more that catches people: the weekday dungeons are not level-only. The official text is explicit — you must first accept that week’s weekly job, itself restricted to level 32 and up, before the dungeon will admit you. Hitting the level without taking the job leaves the door shut, and that is the answer to the recurring “I’m level 40, why can’t I get in”.
4. The level-65 chain, in the operator’s own order
The abyss conditions are written across two documents, half in each. Put together, the chain runs:
- Finish the entire main story
- Clear the passage-to-the-depths quest
- At character level 65, clear deeper and further down
- Clear the auto-accepted follow the shadow side quest → the tower unlocks
- Kill the field boss Krama, then talk to the herald at that zone’s entrance (or start it from the Dunbarton town hall NPC with the right dialogue keyword)
- Clear into that deep darkness and the abyss tutorial → the abyss appears in the top-right menu
- Clear toward that sea → raids unlock
Steps 4 and 6 share the same shadow quest, which is why so many players feel the tower “just opened by itself” — it is a by-product of the abyss chain. And step 6’s phrasing explains a common confusion: before the tutorial is done, the menu has no abyss entry at all. You are not failing to find it; it is not there.
5. Class level is a separate track
These are the two numbers players confuse most often. Character level and class level are counted separately, and they open separate things.
| What opens | Condition | For an alt | Basis |
|---|---|---|---|
| Class passive skills | One each at class levels 15, 30 and 45. | an alt must open it again(per character) | Taiwan official 3474925 |
| The ultimate | Class level 20. | an alt must open it again(per character) | Taiwan official 3474925 |
| Class master medals | One at each of class levels 25, 35, 45, 55 and 65. The emblem itself arrives with the level-25 advancement quest, the class-specialised assist mode opens at 30, and level 65 grants a permanent stat title. | an alt must open it again(per character) | Taiwan official 3474925 |
The numbers in the basis column are Taiwan's own official guide and patch-note article ids, so every row can be checked against the source. Rows marked Korea are content Taiwan does not have yet — listed so you know it exists, not so you wait for it. Checked 2026-10-02.
The same “25” means two unrelated things on the two tracks: character 25 is the advancement gate, class 25 is the emblem and the first class master medal.
6. Life skills and charm — the best-value square on an alt account
| What opens | Condition | For an alt | Basis |
|---|---|---|---|
| Alchemy | Learnable after clearing the Ciar first-floor quest. It is the only life skill with a clean official quest gate, and simultaneously the most consequential one in the game: rune ascension, gem ascension and performance transfer all hang off it. | an alt inherits it(shared on the server) | Taiwan official 3474910 |
| Life skills, processing facilities and crafting benches | Nothing has been published about when life skills themselves open — but something more useful has been: life-skill levels, accumulated life experience, processing-facility grades and crafting-bench levels are all shared by every character on the same server. Only the favourites shortcut needs its own quest. | an alt inherits it(shared on the server) | Taiwan official 3474869 |
| The Stella Dome and the hidden general-store stock | The official text says only that enough charm lets you enter the dome, and gives no number; the same passage confirms that high charm unlocks part of two towns' general-store stock. Charm does not feed combat power — it is a third number, for the leaderboards and for these two doors. | an alt must open it again(per character) | Taiwan official 3474869 |
The numbers in the basis column are Taiwan's own official guide and patch-note article ids, so every row can be checked against the source. Rows marked Korea are content Taiwan does not have yet — listed so you know it exists, not so you wait for it. Checked 2026-10-02.
Alchemy is the only life skill with a clean official quest gate, and simultaneously the most consequential skill in the game: rune ascension, gem ascension and performance transfer all sit underneath it.
Charm is a third number that never feeds combat power. Official text says only that enough charm lets you into the dome, and gives no figure. We are not going to invent one.
7. Alts: what carries over, what starts from zero
This is the half the article exists for. An alt does not start from nothing, and it does not start from your main’s progress either — it inherits what belongs to the account and the server, and repeats what belongs to the character.
| Item | How it counts for an alt | Why | Basis |
|---|---|---|---|
| Life-skill levels, life experience, facility grades, bench levels | an alt inherits it | Officially shared by every character on the server — levelling life skills on an alt is the purest wasted investment in the game. | Taiwan official 3474869 |
| Guild membership | an alt inherits it | Every character on a server belongs to the same guild, per the official text — an alt never repeats the guild quest. | Taiwan official 3474679 |
| M-cash and shop points | an alt inherits it | Officially shared server-wide. | Taiwan official 3474914 |
| The codex and its level | an alt inherits it | Officially shared server-wide. | Taiwan official 3474864 |
| The daily free pick, attendance and Stella Pick | an alt inherits it | All once per account — an alt opening them buys nothing but a loading screen. | Taiwan official 3474665 |
| Stellagram | an alt inherits it | One per account, per the official text. | Taiwan official 3474666 |
| What is in the shared vault | an alt inherits it | Shared with every same-account character on that server, so an alt can draw on it from its first login — and that is the alt's only route to converting anything. | Taiwan official 3474893 |
| Title hold effects and cumulative class levels | an alt inherits it | Cumulative class level is counted per account, so levelling an alt counts exactly as much as levelling the main — the one shape in which alt levelling is not wasted. | Taiwan official 3474925 |
| Character slots | an alt inherits it | Six per server, per the official text; deleting one takes seven days before the slot and its ranking clear. | Taiwan official 3474309 |
| Character level | an alt must open it again | Starts at one. All eight level gates — 2, 10, 25, 32, 45, 55, 58, 65 — have to be crossed again. | Taiwan official 3474901 |
| Main-story progress and every prerequisite quest | an alt must open it again | The abyss chain is the longest: the whole main story, then four named quests and a field-boss kill, in order. An alt runs all of it again. | Taiwan official 3510984 |
| Combat power | an alt must open it again | Gear, runes and gems are all character-bound. The abyss entry tier recommends 14,337, and the alt has to reach it on its own. | Taiwan official 3474937 |
| Silver coins | an alt must open it again | Officially untradeable and barred from any vault. Silver an alt earns can only be spent by that alt — the single most miscounted line in the ledger. | Taiwan official 3474917 |
| Ranking registration | an alt must open it again | Per character, from level 10. | Taiwan official 3474941 |
Every "inherits" row is backed by an official statement that the thing is account- or server-scoped; every "opens it again" row maps to a character-level or character-quest gate in the table above. Checked 2026-10-02.
Translated into what a new alt actually has to do:
- Skip entirely: levelling life skills, joining the guild, collecting the account dailies, creating a Stellagram. All four are already there.
- Cannot skip: the main story. Essentially the whole cost of an alt lives here — not gear, not life skills, but the quest chain running from chapter one to the abyss tutorial.
- Depends on the job: if the alt only runs barter and deep dungeons, the bar is low. If it is to run the abyss, it has to reach level 65 by itself and build its own combat power to the entry tier.
The Korean community’s alt route is worth borrowing, because they have had a year longer to test it. Their consensus stopping point is level 30 to 35: by then an alt can run the full barter circuit, black holes, the market and the daily ward keys, and the marginal return above that falls away quickly. The players who do push an alt to the abyss want two things and no more — the weekly abyss fossil pouch and the class master medals. The medals move through the shared vault, which is what turns “level a class on an alt” from an abstract account contribution into a physical item you can hand your main.
The mistake to avoid runs the other way: do not buy an account-shared title package on an alt. Passes and class packages are genuinely per-character purchases, so the two categories look alike and cost differently — check which one you are holding before paying.
One frequently misreported situation: an unresponsive Molly is usually not a bug. She is the relic-exchange NPC at the abyss entrance, not a barter NPC, so an alt that has not finished the abyss chain will find she simply does not respond. Taiwanese players separately report a prerequisite quest that blocks her shop — player-reported, with no official document naming that quest — worth checking if your main cannot click her either.
8. Live in Korea, not yet on Taiwan
| What opens | Condition | For an alt | Basis |
|---|---|---|---|
| Bari Abyss | Korea's second-generation abyss, not on Taiwan yet. Per Korea's own notice the order runs: kill Krama and finish the first abyss quest, talk to the herald again at the Dunbarton town hall, then clear a dedicated prerequisite at level 85. A 2025-10-16 revision dropped one level-83 prerequisite from the chain entirely. Community-recorded entry power is 20,000 and 30,000 for the first two difficulties, and neither figure is official. | an alt must open it again(per character) | Korea official・not published |
| Runda Abyss | Korea's current third-generation abyss, opened 2026-07. It needs the level-65 shadow quest and then a second abyss quest at level 100 — a ceiling Taiwan's level cap does not come close to yet. | an alt must open it again(per character) | player-reported, not an official figure |
| Soulstream | Korea's account-layer progression system, absent on Taiwan. It is gated by chapter three and one guide quest, and its arithmetic matters enormously for alts: it sums the combat power, life power and charm of every character on the server, so on Korea an alt's growth feeds the main's output directly. | an alt inherits it(shared on the server) | player-reported, not an official figure |
| Mystic Dungeon | Korea turned the mystic dice into a dungeon; Taiwan has nothing equivalent. There is no level gate — the gate is a key item that drops by chance from ordinary dungeons, deep dungeons and hunting grounds. | an alt must open it again(per character) | Korea official・not published |
| The cross-server marketplace | Korea merged every server's marketplace into one on 2026-04-23. Taiwan's are still per-server — not a level gate but a version gap, and one reason Taiwanese prices read differently from Korean ones. | an alt inherits it(account-wide) | Korea official・not published |
The numbers in the basis column are Taiwan's own official guide and patch-note article ids, so every row can be checked against the source. Rows marked Korea are content Taiwan does not have yet — listed so you know it exists, not so you wait for it. Checked 2026-10-02.
The interesting thing about the second-generation abyss chain is that its gate has exactly the same shape as the current one — a level, a bundle of prerequisite quests, a field boss kill — with the level raised from 65 to 85, and to 100 for the generation after that. If the pattern holds, future abyss expansions are likelier to be quest-shaped than power-shaped. That is a read on the pattern, not an announcement.
There is one gap running the other way, and it favours Taiwan. Taiwan’s six character slots per server are officially stated; the Korean figure is a community estimate of three, with no official number published. The same alt strategy therefore has roughly double the production ceiling on Taiwan — the Korean routes transplant to Taiwan at a profit, not a discount.
What to do now
Three things. If you have not finished chapter one, finish it — double drops, star-golem holes and gifting all open together, and it is the highest-return square on the list. If you are past level 32 and still cannot enter a weekday dungeon, go accept that week’s weekly job rather than grinding levels. And if you are planning an alt, check first whether the job you have in mind sits in the “must open it again” column: life skills never need repeating, the story always does.
Safe to ignore. An alt’s life skills, an alt’s account dailies and an alt’s guild join are all work that produces nothing. Charm, too, needs no deliberate stacking unless you specifically want the dome — no threshold has been published, so any specific number you see quoted is not an official one.
What would invalidate this. Three things: the operator publishing a proper unlock-conditions document, in which case it wins and the rows marked “not published” here should be replaced first; Taiwan receiving level 85 and the second-generation abyss, which lifts the ceiling of the whole level table; or the weekday-dungeon-and-job coupling being simplified away — it is the only two-condition rule in this table, and therefore the likeliest to be tidied up in a revision. What to do each day is tracked on the daily checklist.
