Lords of the Hunting Grounds, 9/16: six cells, one catalyst

✍️ Alice・愛麗沙

Time-limited Time-limited content — once the run ends, it can no longer be obtained.
Quick answer

Six cells, two weeks, only the three old bosses count. The event ran from 9/2 to 9/16 05:59 on Taiwan and scores Peri, Crabbach and Krama at two kills each — Cloud Wasteland’s new boss Drochenem is not in the notice, so killing it moves nothing. The full set: Spirit Wings 250, gold 200,000, rune fragments 1,500, Trace of the Spirit 50, one Enhancement Reburn Catalyst. “Kills” are not “slaying loot”, so the weekly cap of 3 does not block it; four spawns a day means six fights fit in two days. Once per server; an alt cannot claim it again.

Why this matters beyond Taiwan

An event notice from another server is only useful for its shape, and this one has a shape that repeats: a boss-kill event that straddles a content update, with a reward table fixed before the new boss existed. Korea ran the same pattern in June 2025; Taiwan ran it in September 2026. Whichever server you eventually play on, the reading rule is the one below: the notice’s list, not the game’s roster, defines what scores.

Six cells, laid out

Six fights, two days, three old bosses — the three numbers that hold the article. The catalyst is in cell five.

ChallengeReward
Kill Peri ×1Spirit Wings 100, gold 100,000
Kill Crabbach ×1Trace of the Spirit 50
Kill Krama ×1rune fragments 500
Kill Peri ×2Spirit Wings 150, gold 100,000
Kill Crabbach ×2rune fragments 500, Enhancement Reburn Catalyst 1
Kill Krama ×2rune fragments 500

Total: Spirit Wings 250, gold 200,000, rune fragments 1,500, Trace of the Spirit 50, catalyst 1.

The most valuable cell is Crabbach ×2’s catalyst. Its fixed sources and weekly cap are tight, and from +15 upward each catalyst lifts one attempt’s success rate by 1% — a single catalyst’s market price exceeds the other five cells combined.

“Kills” and “slaying loot” are two different counters

The official field-boss rule: slaying loot at most 3 times a week. The fourth-boss article shows four bosses fighting for three slots. The event does not count slaying loot; it counts kills. With your three weekly loots already taken, a fourth fight against Peri still registers as a kill — the condition reads “Kill Peri ×1”, not “obtain slaying loot”. The weekly cap does not block event progress.

The reverse also holds: killing the new boss and collecting its slaying loot moves none of the six cells.

Why two days is enough

Bosses spawn at 12, 18, 20 and 22, 30 minutes each. Three bosses at two kills each = six fights.

In one slot all three bosses spawn on three maps at once, so one slot is realistically one boss (teleporting and fighting on two maps inside 30 minutes is a stretch). Four slots a day = four fights; two days = eight; six fits with room. On update day the 12:00 slot is lost to maintenance, so 18, 20 and 22 take one boss each, and the next day repeats.

A time-saving order: Crabbach twice first — the catalyst cell is on it.

What “once per server” means

The notice says the event is played and rewarded per server (once per server), and that any one character on the server completing it triggers the reward.

In practice: alts on the same server share the progress and the reward — the main kills twice, the alt’s panel also shows complete; claim once and it is gone for the whole server. “Cannot be transferred after claiming” — so before claiming, make sure you are logged in on the character that should hold these. 1,500 rune fragments claimed on an alt belong to the alt.

Level 40 is the only gate, being the field-boss entry level.

One thing people mix up

“The event crosses the update, so new content counts too.” The notice went out on 9/2 with a reward edit the same morning, when Cloud Wasteland did not yet exist; no supplementary notice followed. No notice means it does not count. The new boss’s kill title, slaying loot and enchant fragments are its own, unrelated to this event panel.

What to do now

  • Update day, 18/20/22: Crabbach, Peri, Krama once each.
  • Next day, one more round; all six cells lit.
  • Switch to your main before claiming. After 9/16 05:59 the panel disappears — 05:59 is the maintenance day boundary, not midnight.

What would overturn this: a supplementary notice before 9/16 adding the new boss to the score voids the “does not count” section; “kills ignore the weekly cap” is inferred from the notice wording — if a fourth kill fails to advance the panel, the six fights split across two weeks.
