What flipped from 'Korea only' on 9/9: the 447-day list

✍️ Alice・愛麗沙

KR S1 preview KR Season 1 content — live in Korea since 2025-09-25, not yet on the Taiwan server.
Quick answer

Eleven flipped, six did not. Flipped: Lightning Mage, Goddess Descent chapter 2, Bangor, Gairech Hill, Cloud Wasteland, Bari Block 1, Bari Block 2, Mas Deep, the black hole to the Abyss, Enchant, the Cloud Wasteland field boss. Not flipped: Sen Mag Plateau, Emain Macha, the Peca / Peruna tombs, Very Hard in the mines, White Succubus (9/21), accessory transcendence — the first three are later versions in Korea too, so do not read them as “Taiwan skipped something”. Korea’s most useful lesson that week: everyone rushed Cloud Wasteland Very Hard, then found the level cap had not moved. That difficulty belonged to the next version.

The coordinate: 447 days

Eleven and six come from matching the notice line by line against the Korean record, not from impression.

One ruler.

Korea’s Flash of the Wilderness: 2025-06-19. Taiwan’s: 2026-09-09. 447 days apart — the Taiwan–Korea gap, previously estimated from several data points, now has an exact value.

The number is a ruler, not a lament: whatever Korea added some days after the Wilderness, Taiwan should expect roughly that many days later. The second table below is measured with it. For an English reader with no server yet, the same ruler will apply again once a launch date exists: a Wilderness update on any server is precisely Korea’s June 2025, and the questions its community asks that week are the ones Korea asked then.

Five KR/TW pairs of the same content, compared by launch date. The gap in days is computed at build time, so correcting a date immediately moves the number. KR dates come from Korean community and press records (medium confidence — the Korean official site geo-blocks non-Korean IPs, so the official notices cannot be read directly); TW dates were checked row by row against Nexon Taiwan official maintenance notices.Full maintenance log

The Enchant row is the odd one: Taiwan’s official guide published the enchant explainer on 6/11, so the system “existed” all along and only its content arrived on 9/9. A system present in Korea from launch was filled in three months late on Taiwan.

White Succubus is the best example: Korea did not open it on Wilderness day either, and Taiwan scheduled it 12 days out — not Taiwan dragging, Taiwan keeping Korea’s beat. Very Hard in the mines took Korea itself 98 days, so its absence from the menu is normal. The Korean rule “restore Bangor’s statues to unlock Sen Mag Plateau” works only halfway on Taiwan today: statues restorable, title paid, next map absent. The region-goal article explains why restoring them is still right.

Three things Korea learned the same week

Reading back the Korean community record for the week after 2025-06-19, three lessons recur, all about assuming “everything new is for now”:

One: Cloud Wasteland Very Hard is not this version’s. Suggested level 74 while the cap stayed put. A crowd built combat power to open it, then saw “level 74” in the condition. Taiwan’s notice likewise says nothing about the cap — the nine-area article puts this first. Two: the Abyss-hole title is a month’s work, not a week’s. One hole per 36h15m, a 15-minute window, and the 20-run achievement was added later. Week one’s race was the “first purification on the server” route. Three: move tributes by combat power. Mas Deep’s 22,000 gate burned a crowd’s tributes. The verdict “stats up considerably from Rabbie Deep” applies on Taiwan today.

As for “does this update reshuffle the rankings” — the Abyss-ranking reshuffle in Korea came from three later systems, not this patch. Do not change class over the leaderboard today.

One thing people mix up

“Korea has it · Taiwan does not” flipping to “Taiwan has it” does not mean identical numbers. Taiwan received Korea’s 2025-06 version plus the balance corrections Korea made over those 447 days — the notice’s “changes to multiple class skills and rune effects” is exactly that. So among the data labelled S1, the rule layer (sources, counts, conditions) is usable as-is today; the number layer (damage coefficients, drop rates) follows the in-game client.

What to do now

  • The eleven “flipped” items drop their Korea label from today; the six keep it.
  • Do not build combat power for Very Hard in the mines or in Cloud Wasteland — December’s content.
  • Finish the raid-prep checklist before 9/21.

What would overturn this: patch notes 3541097 have been checked — the mines and Cloud Wasteland are Normal / Hard only and there is no cap raise, so the second table stands; the notes do announce field-boss Hard and Abyss Hell 3 for 9/14, neither of which is among the seventeen items here; the 447-day ruler is a single-point estimate, and Taiwan leaked later-version materials early in August, so its beat does not strictly follow Korea’s.
