What the new maps yield: iron on the hill, silver in area 5
✍️ Alice・愛麗沙
Four new items, four single sources: silver ore in Cloud Wasteland area 5, amplifying mushroom in area 6, dark-cloud wool on Gairech Hill, beans north of Bangor. Iron and coal used to lean on the blacksmith’s “disassembled parts for ore” trade, 10 a day; from this stage Gairech Hill has whole iron and coal veins, so those 10 parts can be sold or fed into promotion instead. Cloud Wasteland’s copper veins get a Korean verdict of “sparse, many aggressive mobs” — copper stays in Goddess’s Garden.
Why write it to the area number
The four new items first.
Chinese-language gathering guides stop at “region X has it”; this site writes the area number. The late-August table left a note that three maps would be added after 9/9, and this fills it. In Korea the per-area tables for these three maps were built in the first week of June 2025; below is that table rearranged under the names a server prints.

Spots and sector numbers come from KR players' gathering surveys, checked into our dataset row by row; TW uses the same maps — verify details in-game. Maps marked (from 9/9) open with the officially announced 9/9 update; ※ marks a TW↔KR name mapping still unverified in-game. Full data:Barter
Cloud Wasteland: nine cells, two unique
| Area | Gatherables | Note |
|---|---|---|
| 1 | trees, blood-red herb, arrow flower | |
| 2 | trees | |
| 3 | trees, ore vein, copper vein | sparse, aggressive mobs, not recommended |
| 4 | trees, rough wood, dusk tree | |
| 5 | trees, silver vein, bruise-flower, barren insect swarm | only silver source; area boss here |
| 6 | trees, rough wood, amplifying mushroom, insect swarm | only amplifying-mushroom source |
| 7 | rough wood | field-boss area |
| 8 | tree ×1 | the Korean text says “one tree” |
| 9 | trees, rough wood | area boss; statue rotation starts here |
Bruise-flower is worth remembering: it feeds the Bangor waterwheel barter (bruise-flower ×10 → bottle of water ×10), one link in the bouquet chain. Area 5 has both the silver vein and bruise-flower — two in one trip.
Gairech Hill: the ore map
| Sub-area | Gatherables |
|---|---|
| The barrens | ore vein, iron vein |
| Beside the goddess statue toward Cloud Wasteland | coal vein |
| Whole region | dark-cloud wool (unique) |
| Dragon Ruins dig site, east coast | no gathering recorded |
Dark-cloud wool is a different item from Colhen’s curly-sheep wool. Which recipe it feeds is absent from the Korean data; a server’s catalogue shows it from the day the item exists.
Bangor: a field inside the town
The PC original’s Bangor had nothing to gather but trees. The mobile game puts a bean field and bird nests north of town — beans (Harvest Lv.10, sickle) and eggs. Both are cooking ingredients; beans also feed the tavern’s daily barter (beans ×10 → lean meat ×15).
None of the three earlier towns had either, so these are single sources too.
One sum: the blacksmith’s 10 parts
Until this update, Taiwan’s steadiest source of iron ore and coal was the Tir Chonaill blacksmith’s barter: disassembled gear parts → iron ore or coal, 10 a day. Parts come from disassembling gear that could otherwise be sold for deka or used for promotion.
Gairech Hill makes iron and coal directly minable. The metalworking chain eats them at every step — an alloy steel batch takes coal 8, a special steel batch coal 12. At 2.4 special steel batches a day, that is 29 coal alone; the blacksmith line gives at most 10 ore a day, so barter alone never fed a Lv.3 processing station. From this stage the veins close that gap and the 10 parts go elsewhere. The notice’s “processing facilities and crafting stations to Lv.4” means recipes grow one more tier — what Lv.4 eats is not yet recorded on any server, but it will certainly eat more ore, so the life-skill priority tilts a little further toward mining.
One thing people mix up
“Area 3 has copper veins, so copper moves there.” The Korean text: much sparser than Goddess’s Garden, many aggressive mobs, tedious to gather. Copper stays in Goddess’s Garden. Cloud Wasteland’s ore is worth the trip for one thing: area 5’s silver.
What to do now
- Gairech Hill: mark the iron and coal veins on the map.
- Cloud Wasteland: area 5 for silver and bruise-flower, area 6 for amplifying mushroom; the other areas’ trees are not worth a special trip.
- Bangor: harvest the bean field once a day for the tavern barter.
What would overturn this: every gathering point is Korea’s 2025-06 record, and a server that adjusts area contents (area 8’s tree and area 3’s copper especially) is read from the client; “single source” is judged within the recorded maps, and if a server adds a silver vein to an older map, area 5’s uniqueness disappears.
